Udemy Learning: Unreal 5 C++

I'm starting this blog to provide some visibility into my learning journey and to keep a track record of my recent games development learning.

Today, I made progress in my Udemy course, Unreal Engine 5 C++ Developer: Learn C++ & Make Video Games" I'm happy to say that I now feel quite comfortable navigating the engine and knowing where to find things which I always find is a great milestone, as no part of the editor feels too intimidating anymore.

Recently, I completed lessons on integrating Blueprints and C++. This involved stepping out of the course temporarily to learn the new "Enhanced Input" system, as the course still uses the older input system. Interestingly, the new input system is very similar to Godot 4's implementation of input, which made it familiar and enjoyable to use.

Its nice to have now gotten into a good rhythm with the C++ and blueprint workflow and hopefully many more blog posts and updates to come surrounding Unreal and C++, I'll leave you with a debug sphere smile for now!
